Economic Hardship: Abuja, Akwa-Ibom, Osun 11 Others Commences Protest
Following the earlier planned national protest against hardship today August 1, 2024, there are currently various protests across 14 states out of the 36 state across the country.
It was learnt that the protest started around 10:00am this morning across some states and its currently ongoing.
There were protests in Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Abuja, Nassarawa, Osun, Bayelsa, Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, Adamawa, Cross River, Gusau, Kaduna, Akwa-Ibom, Kebbi and Gombe States as at the time of filing this report.
Although, there has not been any reported destruction, there were heavy military presence across the states mentioned above.
