Aregbesola Honoured As Ulefunta Ambassador 2026 For Community Impact
Engr. Tomiwa Aregbesola, President of the Tomiwa Aregbesola Foundation, has been honoured as the Ulefunta Ambassador 2026 in recognition of his contributions to education, healthcare, youth development and community advancement in Ondo State and beyond.
The honour was conferred on Aregbesola by the organisers of the Ulefunta Festival 2026, an annual cultural celebration aimed at promoting and preserving the history, heritage and identity of the people of Akure.
According to the organisers, Aregbesola was selected in recognition of his sustained commitment to community development and his interventions in areas considered critical to the wellbeing and future of young people.
Through the Tomiwa Aregbesola Foundation, the philanthropist has supported initiatives in education, healthcare and youth development, including assistance to students and interventions in public schools and healthcare facilities.

The Ulefunta Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 22 to 27, with the theme, “Our Culture… Our Heritage…”
