Paul Okoye Confirms End Of PSquare Forever

Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and one half of the now-defunct music group Psquare, has confirmed the end of the music group forever.

The singer during a recent Instagram live session with his fans, shut down the possibiity of any reunion with his twin brother, Peter Okoye after noting that the days of money-eating and baboon working are over.

According to Paul, he has been the one singing, and Peter was reaping off him. He stated that he prefers to work for himself only.

The singer could be heard saying, “The new me, eh, those days when the monkey works and the baboon eats, I’m not doing that anymore.

“I’d rather work for myself. I was always the one singing all the songs, and I won’t do that again.”

His statement didn’t sit well with many, who called him out him for discrediting his brother like he alaways did.

Triple News reports that the Okoye brothers are involved in a bitter family feud, with Paul Okoye and his elder brother Jude Okoye standing against Peter.

Recall, Paul had earlier in a recent interview, confirmed Psquare’s split, saying his twin, Peter filed a petition against him and their elder brother, Jude to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In response, Peter in a lenghty letter, denied the allegations, stating that his petition was aimed solely at their elder brother, Jude, who he accused of diverting funds  into a secret account.

maintained that his intentions were never to target Paul but expressed his disappointment that instead of supporting him, Paul sided with Jude.

Peter also revealed that the ongoing feud was fueled by Paul’s disrespect towards him, his family, and his creative ideas, which further deepened the rift between the once inseparable duo.
