Tinubu Approves Six Months Free Train Ride For Abuja Residents
President Bola Tinubu has approved six months free ride on the Abuja Rail Mass Transit for residents of the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Tinubu made the declaration on Wednesday when he inaugurated the rehabilitated Abuja metro rail in Abuja.
The Federal Capital Territory FCT, Minister Nyesom Wike, had earlier announced free train rides for two months.
President Tinubu says his administration is willing to give hope and reasons to celebrate.
“Our dear landlord and his team, I heard you saying two months free ride. I appeal to you to make it till the end of the year. Since today you are not going to charge me, that will give the people hope and reasons to celebrate,” Tinubu said.
