House of Oduduwa, ADRON Deepen Partnership for National Development

The House of Oduduwa on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, hosted a landmark engagement between His Imperial Majesty, Kabiyesi Arole Oduduwa, Olofin Adimula, the Oonirisa of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, and the leadership of ADRON Group, led by its Founder and Chairman, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King.

The high-level meeting, which traditionally holds a week after the annual Olojo Festival, was facilitated by Otunba Michael Ayodele Olumoko and coordinated by Mr. Olayinka Ibikunle. It brought together traditional rulers, members of the royal cabinet, business leaders and key stakeholders, reinforcing the long-standing relationship between the House of Oduduwa and ADRON Group in advancing youth empowerment, economic growth and national development.

The visiting delegation was warmly received by Olori (Evang.) Temitope Ogunwusi, wife of the Oonirisa, while dignitaries at the meeting included the Onisara of Isara Remo, Bashorun Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo, senior ADRON executives and prominent community leaders.

Speaking at the gathering, Kabiyesi Ojaja II was celebrated for his transformational leadership since ascending the revered throne of Oduduwa. Since his coronation, the monarch has distinguished himself through a blend of visionary traditional leadership and development-oriented engagement. His interventions have reportedly facilitated opportunities for over 50,000 Nigerian youths to travel abroad for education and personal development, championed women empowerment within and beyond the palace, supported palace workers with vehicles and financial assistance, and strengthened welfare initiatives through food distribution, awards and financial empowerment.

Beyond cultural leadership, the Oonirisa holds several strategic national and international positions, including roles at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Kashim Ibrahim University; Founder and Chancellor of Ojaja University; Arole O’odua of the Yoruba race globally; Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria; and Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certified Member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Nigeria.

Internationally, Kabiyesi has strengthened Nigeria’s cultural diplomacy through engagements and visits to monarchs and institutions in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Uganda and Brazil, projecting Yoruba heritage on the global stage.

Introducing ADRON Group to the royal institution, the company’s General Manager, Mrs. Adenike Abosede Ajobo, expressed deep appreciation to Kabiyesi for his consistent support and positive disposition towards the organisation. She highlighted the enduring bond between the Oonirisa and Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, describing it as a relationship rooted in shared values of trust, development and service to humanity.

In his address, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King said the visit was driven by gratitude, alignment and a renewed commitment to partnership with the House of Oduduwa. He outlined ADRON Group’s contributions to national development through housing delivery, real estate investment, job creation and economic stimulation across Nigeria. He also acknowledged the developmental impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, while pledging to “ride on the wings of Kabiyesi Oonirisa” in delivering community-focused and national projects.

As part of the visit, the ADRON Chairman announced plans to establish a landmark luxury development, the Orisun White Paradise Resort, a proposed 200-hectare estate to be located in Ile-Ife.

Kabiyesi, in his response, warmly welcomed the delegation, offered prayers for the Onisara of Isara Remo and commended the ADRON Chairman for his steadfast support of the throne of Oduduwa. He invoked divine protection, stability and greater success for Aare Emmanuel-King, while extending royal blessings to all present.
