Ejiro Obodo Joins Pinnacle Oil and Gas as Corporate Communication Manager

Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited has appointed Ejiro Obodo as its new Corporate Communication Manager, bringing on board an award-winning communications leader with over 15 years of experience spanning journalism, public relations, strategic communications, and research.
Obodo career includes serving as Online Editor at BusinessDay, where he drove the publication’s digital expansion, as well as senior roles at NewGlobe, Caritas Communications and Zenera Consulting.
Most recently, Obodo was Communications Director at NewGlobe, where he played a pivotal role in government-led basic education reform. He was the first Communications Director of EdoBEST and BayelsaPRIME and also provided strategic support for KwaraLEARN. EdoBEST, a $75 million World Bank–funded basic education reform programme is globally recognised as a model for improving literacy and numeracy at scale.
He has consulted for leading energy and logistics multinationals, including Total Energies, Seplat Plc, ExxonMobil, Lekoil, Pan Ocean Oil Corporation, IPPG, New Cross, Niger Star 7, and Topaz Marine. His portfolio includes high-profile projects such as the communications strategy for Total Energies’ $16bn Egina FPSO project.
Obodo’s work has earned him multiple industry awards for excellence in journalism, corporate communications, and public affairs.
At Pinnacle Oil and Gas, he will spearhead corporate communications, brand strategy, and stakeholder engagement to enhance the company’s reputation as Nigeria’s foremost petroleum products marketing and logistics provider.
