United Capital Launches Investment Fund to Empower Nigerian Children’s Financial Future

In celebration of Children’s Day, United Capital Asset Management (UCAML), a subsidiary of United Capital Plc and a top-tier asset management firm, has unveiled its newest product—the Children Investment Fund (CIF) drawing attention to the fund’s unique focus on securing a financial future for children.

The Children Investment Fund is a naira-denominated, open-ended mutual fund tailored to help Nigerian families plan and invest for key life milestones in a child’s journey—such as education, healthcare, and future capital needs. Professionally managed and strategically designed, the fund offers a disciplined path for parents and guardians to build enduring financial security for their children.

Highlighting the investments importance, Managing Director/CEO of United Capital Asset
Management, Dr. Odiri Oginni explained that there is need to start early when it comes to
building wealth for the next generation.

With the launch of the Children Investment Fund, UCAML now manages a portfolio of 10 open-ended mutual funds, making it the second-largest mutual fund provider in Nigeria.
